Presses and extractors are used for removing the last bit of liquid from fruits or vegetables. Screw type presses move product via a screw thru a perforated chamber and become compressed. Juice will flow out the perforated screen. Remaining pumice will then push out an exit gate that is either weighted or has an air cylinder on it to help boost the back pressure. Belt type presses have an upper and lower belt that product becomes trapped between. The product is compressed between the belts and juice flows out from the edges.
CFM Worldwide sells used vertical screw presses, horizontal screw presses, extractors, and belt presses. We commonly have inventory from the following manufacturers: FMC, Rietz, Schwartz, Ensink, Jones, Vetter, Brown, and Flotwig.
